French noun `étalon` meaning:\n\u003e standard: something used as a measure for comparative evaluations\n\n## Installation\n\nAdd this line to your application's Gemfile:\n\n```ruby\ngem 'etalon'\n```\n\nAnd then execute:\n\n    $ bundle\n\nOr install it yourself as:\n\n    $ gem install etalon\n\nIn that last case, you'll need to manually `require \"etalon\"`.\n\n## Usage\n\nAssuming the following instrumented code:\n\n```ruby\n  class Cooking\n    def self.potato\n      Etalon.time(\"Making taters\") do\n        peel_potato\n        cook_potato\n      end\n    end\n
