It's\neasy to mistakenly think that you are not important enough to be at\nrisk. You might imagine that only large corporations are worth a\nmalicious hacker's time. It may have been true when the cost of\nexploiting vulnerabilities in electronic hardware and software was high\nand the number of capable attackers low. These days, the means to\nattack are cheap, there are many more capable attackers, and most of the\nworld is interconnected via the Internet.\n\nSo yes, to varying degrees, everybody needs to worry about operational\nsecurity to some extent.\n\n### How do I protect myself?\n\nAs I mentioned above, it's always a good first step to imagine what\nthreats could face you. This may be difficult when you're not familiar\nwith the universe of information security, so this is what I hope to\nhelp you with.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Folivierlacan%2Fopsec","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Folivierlacan%2Fopsec","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Folivierlacan%2Fopsec/lists"}
