The IG is built using HL7 FHIR tools and follows FHIR community best practices.\n\n## Overview\n\nThe Onconova FHIR IG provides:\n- FHIR profiles and extensions for Onconova use cases\n- Example resources and implementation notes\n- Guidance for implementers and integrators\n\n## Prerequisites\n\nBefore you begin, ensure you have the following installed:\n- [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/) (v14 or higher recommended)\n- [npm](https://www.npmjs.com/)\n- [Java JRE](https://www.java.com/) (required for IG Publisher)\n- [Git](https://git-scm.com/)\n\n## Installation\n\n1. Clone this repository:\n\t```shell\n\tgit clone https://github.com/onconova/fhir.git onconova-fhir-ig\n\tcd onconova-fhir-ig\n\t```\n2. Install FHIR SUSHI and IG Publisher:\n\t```shell\n\tnpm install -g fsh-sushi\n\tsource _updatePublisher.sh -y\n\t```\n\n## Build IG\n\nTo build the Implementation Guide, run:\n\n```shell\n./_genonce.sh\n```\n\n## Usage\n\n- Edit FSH files in the `input/` directory to define profiles, extensions, and examples.\n- Run SUSHI to convert FSH to FHIR JSON:\n  ```shell\n  sushi\n  ```\n- Use the IG Publisher to build and validate the IG as shown above.\n\n## Contributing\n\nContributions are welcome!
