Engineering organizations can use it to keep the bar high.\n\nTo see a video of Barkeep in action, visit [getbarkeep.org](http://getbarkeep.org).\n\nBarkeep is standalone software that you host. Once it's set up, you can use it to track and code review any\nnumber of git repos available on the internet. It's designed to be easy to run on Ubuntu.\n\n### Getting started\n\nIf you're ready to install Barkeep, see the\n[Installing Barkeep](https://github.com/ooyala/barkeep/wiki/Installing-Barkeep) wiki page for instructions and\na one-step shell script.\n\nIf you'd like to take Barkeep for a test-drive first or set up local development on your own machine you can\nquickly install it on a Vagrant VM. See the [Vagrant](https://github.com/ooyala/barkeep/wiki/Vagrant) wiki\npage for details.\n\n### Docs\n\nSee **[the wiki](https://github.com/ooyala/barkeep/wiki)** for instructions on setting up Barkeep for\ndevelopment, deploying it to your own server and tracking git repos with it.\n\n[Read here](https://github.com/ooyala/barkeep/wiki/Comparing-Barkeep-to-other-code-review-tools) for a\ncomparison of Barkeep to other code review systems.\n\n### Contributing\n\nBarkeep was designed to be easy to hack on with Mac or Ubuntu, so feel free to dive in. You can open a ticket\nto suggest a new feature. If you fix a bug or implement a small feature, send us a pull request. If you want\nto implement a larger feature, please post a description of the feature on the [mailing\nlist](https://groups.google.com/d/forum/getbarkeep) beforehand so that we can be sure it's something we want\nto add.\n\nSimple style guidelines: mimic the style around you, cap lines at 110 characters, and follow the [usual\nconventions](http://tbaggery.com/2008/04/19/a-note-about-git-commit-messages.html) for commit messages.\n\n### Mailing list\n\nPlease file user issues as [tickets](https://github.com/ooyala/barkeep/issues) here on Github.\n\nThe Barkeep developer [mailing list](https://groups.google.com/d/forum/getbarkeep) is used for discussion\naround developing Barkeep. You can email the group at\n[getbarkeep@googlegroups.com](mailto:getbarkeep@googlegroups.com).\n\n### Credits\n\nBarkeep was written by the following engineers at Ooyala:\n\n* Bo Chen ([bo-chen](https://github.com/bo-chen))\n* Caleb Spare ([cespare](https://github.com/cespare))\n* Daniel MacDougall ([dmacdougall](https://github.com/dmacdougall))\n* Kevin Le ([bkad](https://github.com/bkad))\n* Phil Crosby ([philc](https://github.com/philc))\n\nand with contributions from other Ooyalans and community members:\n\n* Alberto Leal ([albertoleal](https://github.com/albertoleal))\n* Alek Storm ([alekstorm](https://github.com/alekstorm))\n* Alice Kærast ([kaerast](https://github.com/kaerast))\n* Arturs Meisters ([kalifs](https://github.com/kalifs))\n* Brian Zhou ([zdyn](https://github.com/zdyn))\n* Dann Luciano ([dannluciano](https://github.com/dannluciano))\n* Dylan Tack ([dylantack](https://github.com/dylantack))\n* Fabio Kenji ([fkenji](https://github.com/fkenji))\n* Florian Unglaub ([funglaub](https://github.com/funglaub))\n* Guzmán Brasó ([guzmanbraso](https://github.com/guzmanbraso))\n* Jack Veenstra ([veenstra](https://github.com/veenstra))\n* Kazuhiro Yamada ([k-yamada](https://github.com/k-yamada))\n* Liron Yahdav ([lyahdav](https://github.com/lyahdav))\n* Manish Khettry ([mkhettry](https://github.com/mkhettry))\n* Michael Quinn ([mikejquinn](https://github.com/mikejquinn))\n* Michael Storm ([michaelstorm](https://github.com/michaelstorm))\n* Niklas Hambüchen ([nh2](https://github.com/nh2))\n* Noah Gibbs ([noahgibbs](https://github.com/noahgibbs))\n* Ron Toland ([mindbat](https://github.com/mindbat))\n\nBarkeep is released under [the MIT license](http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php).\n","funding_links":[],"categories":["Ruby","Code Analysis and Metrics"],"sub_categories":[],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fooyala%2Fbarkeep","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fooyala%2Fbarkeep","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fooyala%2Fbarkeep/lists"}
