The\ndata was created using the `Makefile`.\n\nThe `Makefile` contains recipes for downloading an OSM extract for NYC.\nIt clips to NYC borders (not just the bounding box) and attempts to select just\nthe features that are bicycle-related. Run the following to get OSM data:\n\n    make boroughs osm_bikelanes\n\nYou'll need [osmtogeojson](https://github.com/tyrasd/osmtogeojson) to run the \nabove recipe, you can install it with npm:\n\n    npm install -g osmtogeojson\n\nThe city's latest bike lane data is in `data/cscl_bike_routes/original`. This\ndata is not available online, otherwise we would download it from there.
