Read the [Usage](#-usage) section to learn how to access the paint worklet.\n\n### Worklet\n\nIf you want to include the worklet yourself, you can add the paint module like this:\n\n```javascript\nCSS.paintWorklet.addModule('https://unpkg.com/inverted-corners/lib/inverted-corners-worklet.min.js');\n```\n\nFor example, in a React app you could execute this on the component mount:\n\n```jsx\nimport React, { useEffect } from 'react';\n\nconst MyComponent = () =\u003e {\n    useEffect(() =\u003e {\n        if ('paintWorklet' in CSS) {\n            CSS.paintWorklet.addModule('https://unpkg.com/inverted-corners/lib/inverted-corners-worklet.min.js');\n        }\n    }, []);\n\n    return (\n        {/* some content here */}\n    );\n};\n\nexport default MyComponent;\n```\n\n### Check support\n\nTo check if a browser supports the Paint API via JavaScript:\n\n```javascript\nif ('paintWorklet' in CSS) {\n    // Browser supports paint worklets, add the module here\n} else {\n    console.warn('Houdini\\'s Paint Worklet is not supported on your browser.');\n}\n```\n\nTo check if a browser supports the Paint API via CSS:\n\n```css\n@supports (background: paint(something)) {\n    /* Browser supports paint worklets, do something here */\n}\n```\n\n## ⌨️ Usage\n\nOnce you're done with the [Setup](#-setup), you can immediately access the paint worklet with either `background: paint(inverted-corners);` or `-webkit-mask-image: paint(inverted-corners);`\n\n### Properties\n\nThere are three input properties for the paint worklet:\n\n| Property              | Description                                       |\n| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |\n| `--corner-radius`     | The radii of the four corners                     |\n| `--background`        | A color or a gradient to use as the background    |\n| `list-style-image`    | An image to use as the background                 |\n\n### Corners\n\nYou can set the radius of each corner using the `--corner-radius` property.\n\nIt uses a shorthand syntaxt similar to the native `border-radius` property.\n\n```css\n--corner-radius: \u003ctop-left\u003e \u003ctop-right\u003e \u003cbottom-right\u003e \u003cbottom-left\u003e;\n```\n\nFor example,\n\n```css\n--corner-radius: 20 20 -20 -20;\n```\n\nPositive values produce normal corners (similar to the `border-radius` property), while **negative values produce inverted corners**.\n\n### Backgrounds\n\nYou can set the background using the `--background` property.\n\nFor example,\n\n```css\n--background: #fff;\n```\n\nTo add a shadow, use [`filter: drop-shadow()`](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/filter-function/drop-shadow()) instead of `box-shadow`.\n\nYou can also use gradients! Just set multiple colors separated with a comma.\n\n#### Basic gradient\n\n```\n--background: cyan, purple;\n```\n\n#### Tri-color gradient\n\n```\n--background: #879af2, #d3206b, #fda000;\n```\n\n#### Color stops\n\nTo set a custom color stop, use the following format:\n\n```\n\u003ccolor\u003e \u003ccolor-stop\u003e\n```\n\nwhere `\u003ccolor-stop\u003e` is a number between `0.0` and `1.0`.\n\nFor example,\n\n```\n--background: #879af2, #d3206b 0.2, #fda000;\n```\n\n#### Angles\n\nTo set a custom angle, add the rotation (in degrees) as the first parameter:\n\n```\n--background: 90deg, cyan, purple;\n```\n\n### Masks\n\nYou can also use the `mask-image` (and the prefixed `-webkit-mask-image`) property to apply a mask and _reshape_ an element.\n\n```css\n-webkit-mask-image: paint(inverted-corners);\nmask-image: paint(inverted-corners);\n```\n\nWhen using masks, you can apply a background with the regular `background`, `background-color`, and `background-image` CSS properties.\n\nKeep in mind, that while this method is really useful in some cases, you'll lose the ability to add shadows to the element.\n\n### Images\n\nTo set an image as the background of the element, you can use the `list-image-type` property.
