An enclosure for the camera module\n1. An enclosure for a Raspberry PI 3A+ which attaches to the module.\n\n![PI HQ Camera](picamera.png)\n\n## Camera enclosure\n\nThe camera enclosure contains the camera module with adequate protection from everyday use with a slot on the back to\nallow the camera ribbon cable to exit.\n\nThere's to variant of this enclosure, with or without a camera shoe attachment which allows for lightweight items to be\nattached to the camera like a microphone or a small light.\n\n### Usage\n\nFor a plain enclosure use the following modules, one for each component:\n\n    camera_mount(); \n    camera_backplate();\n\nTo include the shoe attachment:\n\n    camera_mount(1); \n    camera_backplate(1);\n\n## Raspberry PI 3A+ enclosure\n\nThe PI enclosure fits a Raspberry PI 3A+ and attaches to the camera enclosure sharing the same mounting holes on the\nback making the entire setup look like a more traditional camera.\n\nThe initial version has no support for buttons, or a screen but the layout of the board is so that it can fit on a full\nsize camera tripod without any sockets being blocked by the tripod.\n\n## Materials\n\nFor the print I used PLA for the prototypes \u0026 ABS for the final print but either can be used\n(at the time I only had Black ABS on hand).\n\nFor assembly, you also require:\n* 16 Male M2.5x5 screws\n* 8 M2.5x11 spacers\n* 4 M2.5x11+6 spacers\n* 4 M2.5x20+6 spacers\n\n## STL's\n\nSTL's are available on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4384389\n\n## Assembly instructions\n\nI've made a video on how to assemble the enclosure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmBG335nT-8\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpeter-mount%2Fpicamera-case","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fpeter-mount%2Fpicamera-case","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpeter-mount%2Fpicamera-case/lists"}
