Picompile primarily targets\n[Pycopy](https://github.com/pfalcon/pycopy), a minimalist Python\nimplementation, but also should be compatible with CPython and other\nPython implementations.\n\nPicompile starts with factoring out monolithic `numpile` codebase into a\nset of simple and small modules, to make dependency patterns among them\nclearer.\n\nJust as the original `numpile` project, `picompile` is intended to be\nsuitable for studying, and thus minimalism and clarity of changes is\nimportant.
