View the live website here:\n[stayinghome.club](https://stayinghome.club).\n\n\n## How do I add my company?\n\nThe short version is: the website is generated from files [in the `_data` directory](https://github.com/phildini/stayinghomeclub/tree/master/_data/).  Add the details of your\ncompany by mimicking what others have done, and create a PR.  If\nyou're not familiar with Git or Pull Requests, here are the steps.\nYou will need a Github account.\n\n1. Make sure you're editing the main repository which hosts the\n    website.  It is here on Github:\n    [`https://github.com/phildini/stayinghomeclub`](https://github.com/phildini/stayinghomeclub).\n\n1. You will need to create a YML file [in the `companies`\n   directory](https://github.com/phildini/stayinghomeclub/tree/master/_data/companies).\n   Navigate there, and click the \"Create new file\" button.  Here's a\n   [direct link to the Create\n   page](https://github.com/phildini/stayinghomeclub/new/master/_data/companies).\n\n   Or, if you're just updating an existing entry, click on it, then\n   hit the \"Edit\" button.\n\n1. Give the file a name, something like `google.yml` or `envato.yml` or `my-awesome-company.yml`\n   or `ing.yml`, no fancy or uppercase characters, and be sure to end it with\n   **.yml**. Add the details about your company in this format:\n\n      ```yaml\n      name: Your company name\n      wfh: Strongly Encouraged\n      travel: Restricted\n      visitors: Restricted\n      events: Restricted\n      last_update: 2020-03-13\n      ```\n\n1. Click \"Propose File Change\", the big green button at the bottom of\n   the page.\n\n1. This will take you to a page where you can click \"Create pull\n   request\".  Once you do that, one of the maintainers of the website\n   will attend to your update ASAP.\n\n1. Thank you for helping us keep this site up-to-date! 🙏\n\n## For developers\n\nYou may want to run the site locally, to see what it looks like while\nyou're making changes.  A full tutorial is out of scope here, but\nthese are the basic steps.  We assume you know a little bit of Ruby.\n\nFirst, you'll need Ruby Bundler, which manages this project's\ndependencies.\n\n```shell\ngem install bundler -v 2.1.4\n```\n\nNow, install the required Gems.\n\n```shell\nbundle install\n```\n\nWhen that's done, run the development server.\n\n```shell\nbundle exec jekyll serve\n```\n\nJekyll will print a URL where you can see your local version running,\nas it would on the web.
