The\nvalue is a perl-compatible regular expression (PCRE). The `computername` is\ntested against the pattern. The default pattern is `.*`, which matches any\nvalue.\n\nThe logic flow is as follows:\n\n1.  If the computername grain has a value that matches the pattern, use the\n    grain value.\n2.  Otherwise, if the computername pillar has a value that matches the pattern,\n    use the pillar value.\n3.
