Basically, Eclipse will build\nthe Java and Android bits, and the Makefile will build the rest of the\nbits.\n\nTo do a build of the non-Eclipse bits, from the command-line, run\n\n    make build\n    \nYou can do a *continuous build* by running\n\n    make watch\n    \nThe first time you do a build, a number of resources will be downloaded\ninto the vendor directory.\n\nThe Android app doesn't do much, or anything, really, but I wanted to\nhave a skeletal project out there I could clone off of.\n\nInteresting directories:\n\n* assets - output directory for the build; the build actually marks the \ncontents r/o so you can't accidently edit the files\n\n* bin - output directory for Eclipse Java compilation\n\n* debug - source directory for debug-specific additions\n\n* gen - output directory for Android goop, I guess\n\n* modules - source directory for scoop modules\n\n* res - source directory for Android resources\n\n* src - source directory for Java classes\n\n* vendor - directory where 3rd party stuff is downloaded to\n\n* web - source directory for HTML / CSS / JavaScript","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpmuellr%2Fphonegap-android-helloworld","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fpmuellr%2Fphonegap-android-helloworld","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpmuellr%2Fphonegap-android-helloworld/lists"}
