Before you start you'll need the following prerequisites:\n\n-   Python 2.7\n-   [Google Cloud SDK](https://cloud.google.com/sdk/)\n-   App Engine Python standard environment. Ensure this is installed by running\n    the following command:\n\n        gcloud components install app-engine-python\n        \n    Or, if you installed via apt:\n    \n        sudo apt-get install google-cloud-sdk-app-engine-python\n\nSet up your repo:\n\n    git clone https://github.com/Polymer/polymer-library-docs \n    cd polymer-library-docs\n    npm install\n\n\n### Running the site\n\nThe first time you run the site, run `npm run build` to build the site in its\nentirety:\n\n    npm run build\n\nThen start the App Engine dev server:\n\n    npm run serve\n\nThe site will be served from http://localhost:8080.\n\n\n### Deployment\n\nBuild and deploy a new version of the site:\n\n    npm run deploy\n\nThe site will be staged at a new URL (e.g.\nhttps://20181207t151022-dot-polymer-library.appspot.com).
