Done\n\nThis is a dumb Ruby script to help manage daily work logs.\n\nKeeps each day in a separate file.\n\nKeeps the files in a Git repository.\n\nEdits the logs via `vim`.\n\nTrailing newlines stripped automatically from logs.\n\nOptionally pushes to a remote Git repository.\n\n### Installing\n\nThis is a Ruby program, so you'll need [a Ruby](https://www.ruby-lang.org/) first.\n\nVia RubyGems:\n\n    gem install done_log\n\nFrom source:\n\n    git clone https://github.com/presidentbeef/done_log.git\n    gem build done_log.gemspec\n    gem install done_log*.gem\n\n### Configuration \n\nLogs are kept in `~/.done/log/`.\n\nThis directory is created automatically.\n\nConfiguration is read from JSON file `~/.done/config`.\n\nA default configuration file is created automatically.\n\nOptions are:\n\n* `git_repo` which can be set to a remote Git repository.\n* `date_color` which sets the color used for dates when viewing logs.\n\n[Possible colors listed here](https://github.com/presidentbeef/done_log/blob/master/lib/done_log/ansi_colors.rb#L4-L12),\nplus they can be prefixed by `bright_`.\n\n### Running\n\n`done_log` edits the log for the current day.\n\n`done_log -[N]` edits the log for the previous `N` day. `-1` is yesterday, `-2` is two days ago, etc.\n\n`done_log -d DATE` edits the log for the specified date.\n\n`done_log -s -d DATE` shows the specified log.\n\n`done_log --sprint` shows the last 14 days of logs.\n\n### Logging\n\n#### Start a Log\n\nTo enter a log for today, run `done_log`.\n\nTo enter a log for yesterday, run `done_log -1`\n\nTo enter a log for a specific date, run `done_log -d DATE`.\n\n#### Edit a Log\n\nWhen editing, `vim` is opened to a new/existing document.
