slack-webhook\n\n## Installation\n\n```bash\nnpm i -S slack-webhook\n```\n\n## Usage\n\n### Initialization\n\nSetup an [incoming webhook](https://slack.com/apps/A0F7XDUAZ-incoming-webhooks) and copy the webhook url. This is the only required parameter to initialize the module.\n\n```js\nvar SlackWebhook = require('slack-webhook')\n\nvar slack = new SlackWebhook('https://hooks.slack.com/services/your/webhook/url')\n```\n\nOptionally, you can pass in a `defaults` attribute to set defaults for the webhook's `username`, `icon_emoji` and `channel`. If no `defaults` attribute is used, it will default to the configuration that was used on the set up page.\n\n```js\nvar slack = new SlackWebhook('https://hooks.slack.com/services/your/webhook/url', {\n  defaults: {\n    username: 'Bot',\n    channel: '#general',\n    icon_emoji: ':robot_face:'\n  }\n})\n```\n\n### Sending a message\n\nThere are two ways to send a message. The first is by passing a string as the argument.\n\n```js\nslack.send('some text')\n```\n\nThe second is to pass a payload.
