TOP: Towards Open and Predictable Heterogeneous SoCs\n\nThis repo provides a simple way of reproducing the results shown in the paper \"TOP: Towards Open and Predictable Heterogeneous SoCs\".\nIt is developed as part of the [PULP](https://pulp-platform.org/) project, a joint effort between ETH Zurich and the University of Bologna.\n\n## Repo organization\n\nThe `test` folder contains the sample architecture (figure below), instantiated with generic AXI managers, able to issue multiple\noutstanding transactions toward the AXI subordinates. \n\n![target-arch](./docs/target-arch-1.png)\n\nThe managers and subordinate can be configured to have a variable number of outstanding transaction.\n\nTo run the tests with different configurations, you can just run:\n\n```\nmake build results\n\n```\n\nThen, to process the traces and produce the graphs:\n\n```\npython3 profile_system.py\n\n```\n\n## Software tests\n\nThe software tests can be run on [carfield](https://github.com/pulp-platform/carfield/tree/main).\n\nTo do so:\n\n```\ngit clone https://github.com/pulp-platform/carfield/tree/main\ncd carfield\ngit checkout ddc9c04733461f8edae334be8022cd80d934c3d8\nmake car-init\nmake car-hw-build\nmake car-sw-build\nmake car-hw-sim CHS_BOOTMODE=0 CHS_PRELMODE=1 CHS_BINARY=./sw/tests/bare-metal/hostd/pulp-offload-intf.interference.car.dram.elf \n```\n\nIn these tests, CVA6 and the cluster's cores perform strided accesses to cause as many L1 cache and LLC misses as possible.","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpulp-platform%2Fsoc_model_rt_analysis","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fpulp-platform%2Fsoc_model_rt_analysis","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fpulp-platform%2Fsoc_model_rt_analysis/lists"}
