Quary, engineers can:\u003c/h2\u003e\n\n- 🔌 Connect to their Database\n- 📖 Write SQL queries to transform, organize, and document tables in a database\n- 📊 Create charts, dashboards and reports (in development)\n- 🧪 Test, collaborate \u0026 refactor iteratively through version control\n- 🚀 Deploy the organised, documented model back up to the database\n\nView the 🏗️ Asset Types in Quary\n\nDefine and manage the following asset types as code:\n\n- **Sources:** Define the external data sources that feed into Quary, such as database tables, flat files, or APIs (with DuckDB).\n- **Models:** Transform raw data from sources into analysis-ready datasets using SQL, this lets engineers split complex queries into atomic components.\n- **Charts:** Create visual representations of your data using SQL.\n- **🚧 Dashboards (WIP):** Combine multiple charts into a single view, allowing engineers to monitor and analyze data in one place.\n- **🚧 Reports (WIP):** Create detailed reports to share insights and findings with your team or stakeholders.\n\n## 🚀 Getting Started\n\n### Installation\n\nQuary is a VSCode Extension (Interface) \u0026 Rust-based CLI (Core)\n\n#### Extension\n\nThe VSCode extension can be installed [here](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Quary.quary-extension). Note that it depends on the CLI being installed.\n\n#### CLI\n\n#### Homebrew installation\n\n```\nbrew install quarylabs/quary/quary\n```\n\n#### Linux/Mac through curl\n\nQuary can be installed using curl on Linux/Mac using the following command:\n\n```shell\ncurl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/quarylabs/quary/main/install.sh | bash\n```\n\n#### Other installations\n\nOther builds are available in the [releases page](https://github.com/quarylabs/quary/releases/latest) to download.\n\n### Usage\n\nOnce installed, a sample project can be created and run as follows:\n\n```shell\nmkdir example # create an empty project folder\ncd example\nquary init    # initialize DuckDB demo project with sample data\nquary compile # validate the project structure and model references without database\nquary build   # build and execute the model views/seeds against target database\nquary test -s   # run defined tests against target database\n```\n\n\u003ch2\u003e🅀 Community\u003c/h2\u003e\n\n[Join our Slack channel](https://join.slack.com/t/quarylabs/shared_invite/zt-2dlbfnztw-dMLXJVL38NcbhqRuM5gUcw), for help, ideas, and discussions.\n\n## Support\n\nIf you run into any problems using Quary, please let us know. We want Quary to be easy-to-use, so if you are getting\nconfused, it is our fault, not yours. [Create an issue](https://github.com/quarylabs/quary/issues) and we'll be happy to\nhelp you out.\n\n### Check out our other projects\n\n[SQRUFF](https://github.com/quarylabs/sqruff), a compact, high-speed SQL linter, engineered with Rust efficiency.\n","funding_links":[],"categories":["Rust","其他_大数据"],"sub_categories":["资源传输下载"],"project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fquarylabs%2Fquary","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fquarylabs%2Fquary","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fquarylabs%2Fquary/lists"}
