Create a .env file in the root directory.\n2. In the .env file ensure you have the following setup.\n\n```\nMONGODB_URI=YOUR MONGODB URI\nTOKEN_SECRET = THIS IS FOR THE SIGNING THE JWT, YOU CAN USE ANY RANDOM CHARACTERS\nBASE_URL=http://localhost:8000/api/\nport=YOUR PREFERRED PORT i.e 8000\n```\n\n3. Run the npm command below\n\n```sh\nnpm run dev\n```\n\n4. Refer to the docs located at /api/v1/docs/ i.e http://localhost:8000api/v1/docs/ to create a user.\n\n5.
