Install dependencies\n\nThe dependencies of any Debian project are listed in the \"Build-Depends\" section\nof the file named \"control\" in the \"debian\" subdirectory of the project. Either \ninstall each of these manually by using \"sudo apt install \u003cdependency-name\u003e\", or,\nif the project has already been released into apt, the build dependencies can all\nbe automatically installed using the command \"sudo apt build-dep \u003cpackage-name\u003e\".\n\n2. Configure meson\n\nTo configure the meson build system, use the command \"meson setup builddir\"\nin the top directory of the project. This will create a subdirectory \"builddir\",\nand by default set the project for installation in the /usr/local tree,\nwhich will not overwrite a version which has been installed from apt.\n\nIf you wish to overwrite a preinstalled version in the /usr tree, use the command\n\"meson setup builddir --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib/\u003clibrary-location\u003e\".\nOn a 32-bit system, \u003clibrary-location\u003e should be \"arm-linux-gnueabihf\".\nOn a 64-bit system, \u003clibrary-location\u003e should be \"aarch64-linux-gnu\".\n\n3.
