Because of this, you will see Amazon's home screen flash on the screen very briefly after pressing the home button, before FlamedTV Launcher appears.\n\n###Installation\nFirst, head over to the [Releases Page](https://github.com/Redth/FlamedTVLauncher/releases) and get the latest version .apk file.\n\nOnce you've downloaded the file, follow these steps:\n\n1. Find the IP address of your FireTV (you can do this by going into the settings)\n2. Open a Terminal, you're going to sideload the .apk to your FireTV\n3. `adb connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx` to connect to your FireTV where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of your FireTV\n4. `adb install /path/to/com.altusapps.firedtvlauncher-1.x.x.apk` to install the app to your device\n5. On your FireTV, open the settings\n6. Go into Applications\n7. Find 'FlamedTV' in the list, and select it\n8. Select 'Launch Application'\n\n###Update Process\nTo update to a newer version of this app, first you must uninstall the old version.\n\nYou can do this on the FireTV itself (Settings \u003e Applications \u003e Manage Installed Applications \u003e FireTV Launcher \u003e Uninstall)\n\nOr, you can use adb:\n\n1. `adb connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx` to connect to your FireTV where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of your FireTV\n2. `adb uninstall com.altusapps.firedtvlauncher`\n\nNow you can simply reinstall the app following the instructions from the \"Installation\" process.\n\n###Where's the Java?\nIf you looked at the source, you may have noticed that there's no Java.  That's because this was written entirely in C# using [Xamarin](http://xamarin.com)!  C# is awesome, go use Xamarin!\n\n###What's next?\nObviously this launcher is very simple, and there's not much to it.
