The included Gradle files take care of downloading and extracting the latest\nsource code, allowing you to build the command line tool, without the need to download the entire AOSP.\n\n## Usage\n\nDownload the latest [release](./releases), extract it wherever you'd like, and run the tool.\n\n```shell\ncurl -L -o /tmp/vd-tool.zip https://github.com/rharter/vd-tool/releases/latest/download/vd-tool.zip\nmkdir ~/bin\nunzip /tmp/vd-tool.zip -d ~/bin\n~/bin/vd-tool/bin/vd-tool --help\n```\n\n## Building\n\nThe Vector Drawable Tool depends on Google's libraries from `com.android.tools` package. Make sure that `android-tools` property at `gradle/libs.versions.toml` is set to the latest stable version from [Google maven repository](https://maven.google.com/web/index.html?#com.android.tools:sdk-common)\n\nSince this repository doesn't contain the actual source code of the tool, you first need to run the\n`fetchSources` task, which will download and extract the source. Then you can use standard `run` and \n`assembleDist` tasks to build the project.\n\n```shell\n# First fetch the sources\n./gradlew fetchSources\n\n# Assemble the distributions.
