As the release series progresses, we are\ngradually adding support for incomplete functionality in existing\ninterfaces, additional functions that are deemed to be important due\nto their use in real-world software, and support for new library and\nlanguage features in C11 such as thread-local storage, which is now\nsupported on all targets. In addition, support for additional target\ncpu architectures is being added.\n\nThe number of packages build successfully against musl - either\nout-of-the-box or with minor patches to address portability errors -\nhas exceeded 5000 and is steadily growing. In addition to application\ncompatibility testing, unit testing has been conducted using three\nseparate test frameworks and numerous additional standalone test cases\nto verify the correctness of the implementation.\n\nIncluded with this package is a gcc wrapper script (musl-gcc) which\nallows you to build musl-linked programs using an existing gcc 3.x or\n4.x toolchain on the host. There are also now at several mini\ndistributions (in the form of build scripts) which provide a\nself-hosting musl-based toolchain and system root. These are much\nbetter options than the wrapper script if you wish to use dynamic\nlinking or build packages with many library dependencies. See the musl\nwebsite for details.\n\nThe musl project is actively seeking contributors, mostly in the areas\nof porting, testing, and application compatibility improvement. For\nbug reports, support requests, or to get involved in development,\nplease visit #musl on Freenode IRC or subscribe to the musl mailing\nlist by sending a blank email to musl-subscribe AT lists DOT openwall\nDOT com.\n\nThank you for using musl.\n\nCheers,\n\nRich Felker / dalias\n\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Frofl0r%2Fmusl-ppc","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Frofl0r%2Fmusl-ppc","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Frofl0r%2Fmusl-ppc/lists"}
