rose-pine-grub.tar.gz\n```\n\nMove the `rose-pine-grub` folder into the `/boot/grub/themes/` directory:\n\n```sh\nsudo mv rose-pine-grub /boot/grub/themes\n```\n\nIf the `themes` directory doesn't exist, create it.\n\nI recommend making a backup of your GRUB config now just in case:\n\n```sh\nsudo cp /etc/default/grub /etc/default/grub.bak\n```\n\nNow edit your GRUB config (`sudoedit` is recommended to avoid giving your text\neditor root permissions):\n\n```sh\nsudoedit /etc/default/grub\n```\n\nFind the line with `GRUB_THEME=`. If it is commented out, uncomment it. If it\ndoesn't exist, add a line to your GRUB config, and set your `GRUB_THEME` line\nto the following:\n\n```conf\nGRUB_THEME=\"/boot/grub/themes/rose-pine-grub/theme.txt\"\n```\n\nOptionally, you can set the `GRUB_GFXMODE` setting for the theme to display at\nyour native screen resolution.\n\nNow you need to update your GRUB config:\n\n```sh\nsudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg\n```\n\nOn Debian-based distros, the following wrapper exists for this command:\n\n```sh\nsudo update-grub\n```\n\n### With grub-customizer\n\n1. Launch [grub-customizer](https://pkgs.org/download/grub-customizer)\n2. Navigate to appearance settings\n3. Go to theme and hit the plus button, and select `rose-pine-grub.tar.gz`\n4. Select it form the list and hit Save in the top left\n5.
