It allows users to write and preview Markdown content in real-time, making it easier to format text for various purposes such as documentation, notes, or blog posts.\n\nIt also features Firebase Auth with Google sign-in.\n\nThis project is part of Learn React course on [scrimba.com](scrimba.com).\n\n## Demo\n\n![MarkItDown Screenshot](./public/screenshot.png)\n\n[Live Demo](https://mark-it-down-delta.vercel.app/)\n\n## Features\n\n- Live preview of Markdown content\n- User-friendly interface\n- Firebase integration for data storage and authentication\n- Google sign in functionality to save notes\n\n## Installation\n\nTo run this project locally, follow these steps:\n\n1. **Clone the repository:**\n\n   ```bash\n   git clone https://github.com/RushilJalal/MarkItDown.git\n   ```\n\n2. **Navigate to the project directory:**\n\n   ```bash\n   cd MarkItDown\n   ```\n\n3. **Install the dependencies:**\n\n   ```bash\n   npm install\n   ```\n\n4. **Set up Firebase:**\n\n   - Create a Firebase project at [Firebase Console](https://console.firebase.google.com/).\n   - Add a new web app to your Firebase project.\n   - Copy your Firebase configuration and replace the placeholder configuration in the project at [firebase.js](src\\firebase.js)\n\n5. **Start the development server:**\n\n   ```bash\n   npm run dev\n   ```\n\n   The app should now be running on `http://localhost:5173`.\n\n## Usage\n\n- Sign in with Google\n- Write Markdown in the editor pane.\n- See the rendered Markdown preview in real-time in the preview pane.\n- Use the toolbar for common Markdown syntax shortcuts.\n\n## Contributing\n\nContributions are welcome!
