Installation\n\n```bash\nnpm install edit-script\n```\n\n## Usage\n\n```\n$ edit-script --help\nEdit npm scripts from the command line without worrying about json escaping.\n\n    edit-script\n    edit-script \u003cscript\u003e\n```\n\nRunning `edit-script` will give you an interactive interface that allows you to choose a script or create a new one.\n\n`edit-script \u003cscript\u003e` allows you to select the script you want to edit on the command line. If `\u003cscript\u003e` does not exist, it will allow you to create a new script with that name.\n\nTo delete a script, simply empty the script in the editor. `edit-script` will delete the key in the `package.json` for you.\n\n## Editor Selection\n\n`edit-script` uses the value of the `$VISUAL` or `$EDITOR` environment variables to determine the editor to use for script editing.
