You can get wxWidgets from:\n\n http://www.wxwidgets.org\n\n Get the GTK+ version (also known as wxGTK). xCHM currently compiles\n with all flavours of wxWidgets, but only works well and looks truly\n appealing with wxGTK, so I recommend against bothering to use it with\n anything else.\n\n You can get CHMLIB from:\n\n http://www.jedrea.com/chmlib/\n\n After you've installed the above you're ready for the next phase.\n\n * Installing\n\n Type ./configure --help if you're interested in parameters you can pass\n to configure for compile switches. Most people will be perfectly happy\n doing a:\n\n ./configure \u0026\u0026 make\n\n Once everything is built, type\n\n make install\n\n and the executable should be somewhere in your $PATH (hopefully :)).\n Now you can just type\n\n xchm\n\n and start your session.\n \n * Generating documentation\n\n If you'd like to generate developer documentation go to the root\n of the distribution and type\n\n doxygen\n\n This of course implies that you have doxygen installed. The documentation\n will be generated in the doc directory in HTML and LaTex format.
