Prerequisites\n\n- **Node.js** `\u003e= 18` (last tested: `22`) and **npm** (for the Front-End) - *You can install Node.js and npm here: [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/download/package-manager).*\n\n\n\n## Technologies\n\n- **Back-End**: Solidity `0.8.28`, Ethereum, Hardhat `2.22.x`\n- **Front-End**: Next.js `14`, React `18`, TypeScript `5`, Tailwind CSS\n- **Blockchain Interaction**: Ethers.js\n- **Wallet Integration**: MetaMask\n\n\n\n## Getting Started (Localnet)\n\n### Clone the Repository\n\n```bash\ngit clone https://github.com/s-damian/hardhat-nft-ticketing.git\n```\n\n\n### Go to the Hardhat Directory\n\n```bash\ncd /\u003cyour-path\u003e/hardhat-nft-ticketing\n```\n\n\n### Install Dependencies\n\nFor the Hardhat App:\n\n```bash\nnpm install\n```\n\nFor the Next.js App:\n\n```bash\nnpm install --prefix ./frontend\n```\n\n\n### Environment Setup\n\n- Create a `.env` file (for the Hardhat App):\n\n```bash\ncp .env.example .env\n```\n\n- Create a `./frontend/.env` file (for the Next.js App):\n\n```bash\ncp ./frontend/.env.example ./frontend/.env\n```\n\n\n### Run Hardhat on Local Network\n\nStart a local network with Hardhat:\n\n```bash\nnpx hardhat node\n```\n\n\n### Make Scripts Executable\n\nEnsure that the shell scripts are executable:\n\n```bash\nchmod +x sh/*.sh\n```\n\n\n### Compile and Deploy\n\nCompile contract(s):\n\n```bash\nnpx hardhat compile\n```\n\nDeploy contract(s) on local network:\n\n```bash\nnpm run deploy localhost\n```\n\n(`npm run your project Locally, the next step is to deploy it to a public Testnet like Sepolia.
