It is cold, but · we have Sake · and the hot spring\n\nSake is a build tool and task runner for JavaScript. Sake features an extensible\ncore and support for modern JS. Inspired by\n[Cake](http://coffeescript.org/documentation/docs/cake.html), Sake is the\nperfect DSL for building projects.\n\n### Features\n- Additional helpers to make writing tasks faster and more pleasant.\n- Generator based-control flow in tasks with full support for Promises.\n- Intutive CLI and automatic option parsing.\n- Plugin architecture with available plugins for many common build tasks.\n- Tasks can declare dependencies and be easily composed of and interact with\n  other tasks.\n- Modern JS support:\n    - Async/Await\n    - ES modules\n    - Generators\n    - Promises\n\n### Install\n```\nnpm install sake-core --save-dev\n```\n\n### Usage\nTypically Sake is used via it's command line interface which can be installed\nwith `npm install -g sake-cli`. Once the [`sake`][sake-cli] command is\navailable, you can begin writing a `Sakefile` and defining available tasks in\nyour project.\n\n### Sakefile\nSake will search for a Sakefile with tasks defined for your current project.\nSakefiles can be written in ES2015 JavaScript and support modules natively.\n\nOptionally, you can write your Sakefile in CoffeeScript, which allows a very\nnice DSL-ish experience.\n\n### Examples\n#### Async tasks\nAsync tasks are easy to declare, any task with an obvious callback will be\ntreated as asynchronous. Add an additional argument called `callback`, `cb`,\n`done` or `next` and use it to indicate when your task is finished executing.\n\n```coffee\ntask 'compile:js', 'compile js', (done) -\u003e\n  exec 'coffee -bc app.coffee', done\n\ntask 'minify:js',   'minify js', (done) -\u003e\n  exec 'uglify-js --compress --mangle app.js \u003e app.min.js', done\n```\n\n#### Promise tasks\nYou can also return a promise from your task and sake will automatically\nwait for it to resolve.
