Above all of them sits a\nlanding page, *Cor del Món*, which means \"Heart of the World\" in Catalan.\n\nEvery site shares a synchronized heartbeat, a nine-section structure, and a\n**rolling-wave** milestone narrative (Charter, Break Ground, Operational, Generation)\nwhere each city moves at its own city-specific pace, not a synchronized handover.\nThe first city, *Andorra · El Cor Viu*, is the seed; each other city is shaped to\nits own skyline, materials, languages, and binding constraints.\n\n## The current state\n\nAll six wave-1 cities are live. Each city's monument is sized to its own skyline:\n**Andorra 33m**, **Yokohama 120m**, **Adelaide 65m**, **Valparaíso 47m**, **Cape Town 99m**,\n**Jaipur 28m**. The rolling-wave schedule has Andorra opening 2032, Adelaide and Yokohama\n2035-2036, and Valparaíso, Cape Town, and Jaipur reaching Operational by 2038-2040.\n\nThe network broadcast (Cor FM and Cor Kids TV) runs from a single hub anchored in\nAndorra, with each operational city contributing a weekly hour in its own language.\nThere is no per-city radio station; the Yokohama Hour, Adelaide Hour, Valparaíso Hour,\nCape Town Hour, and Jaipur Hour are weekly slots inside the network broadcast.\n\n## Read it first\n\nIf you have arrived here from a search engine or a friend, the warmest places to\nstart are:\n\n- **Andorra · El Cor Viu**, the seed page, in Catalan and English.\n- **[`network-constitution.md`](network-constitution.md)**, the easy-to-read charter:\n  the nine mandatory sections every city honours, the synchronized heartbeat,\n  the Cor Residency and Biennale mechanics, the four milestone years, and\n  how a new city signs the Cor Charter to join.\n- **[`DISCLAIMER.md`](DISCLAIMER.md)**, the full disclaimer covering professional\n  advice, named entities, illustrative numbers, and the no-funds, no-investment,\n  no-consultancy posture of the project.\n\n## How it is built\n\nThis is a **zero-build-step** site. There is no Webpack, no Vite, no Next.js, no\npackage manager involved. Every page is a single self-contained HTML file that\nloads **React 18.2.0** and **Babel-standalone 7.23.9** from a public CDN, and a\ntiny shared module of UI components from `/_shared/cor-shared-v1.js`. (React 18.3.1\nand React 19.0.0 exist; the conservative 18.2.0 pin is intentional for a static\nsite that should not rebreak when a CDN moves.)\n\nTo work on it locally:\n\n```sh\n# from the repository root\npython3 -m http.server 8000\n# then open http://localhost:8000 in your browser\n```\n\nA small note on previewing: do not open the HTML files via `file://`. The shared\nmodule is loaded as a `\u003cscript type=\"module\"\u003e`, which browsers refuse to execute\nfrom `file://` for security reasons. The tiny static server above is the easiest\nfix.\n\n## Tests\n\nThe repo ships with a 90-test Playwright suite under `tests/` covering smoke\nchecks (every URL responds, every JSON parses, key strings are present), end-to-end\nbehaviour (React renders, synchronized heartbeat animates and stays phase-locked\nacross browser tabs), AJV schema validation (every per-city vocab object validates\nagainst `_shared/vocab.schema.json`), Visual Identity invariants (nine sections, rose\ntoken, NetworkNav, wordmark), and an internal-link integrity sweep across every page.\n\n```sh\ncd tests\nnpm install\nnpx playwright install chromium    # first time only, downloads Chromium\nnpx playwright test                 # boots a local static server and runs everything\n```\n\nTo run against the live deployed site instead of localhost:\n\n```sh\nBASE_URL=https://sara-star-quant.github.io/cor-del-mon npx playwright test\n```\n\nThe `tests/` directory is dev tooling only. None of it is deployed to GitHub Pages.\n\n## Privacy and analytics\n\nThere are no analytics on this site. No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party\nbeacons. A project about love does not need surveillance.\n\nThe only third-party requests are to public CDNs (cdnjs for React and Babel,\nGoogle Fonts for typography). If you would like a fully self-hosted version with\nno third-party requests at all, that is a small change worth doing once we are\npast the prototype stage. Open an issue if you would like to push it forward.\n\n## License\n\nTwo licenses, by intent:\n\n- **[`LICENSE`](LICENSE)** covers the **code** (every JS, HTML, JSON, CSS, workflow, and\n  configuration file). It is the **PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0**, a modern,\n  legally robust source-available license. You may read, study, modify, and\n  share the code for any purpose that is not commercial.\n\n- **[`LICENSE-content.md`](LICENSE-content.md)** covers the **prose, design rationale, research,\n  architectural language descriptions, and milestone narrative**. It is\n  **Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0)**.\n  You may quote, cite, adapt, and redistribute the writing with attribution,\n  for any non-commercial purpose.\n\nCommercial use is not granted by either licence. The project does not offer commercial\nlicensing, paid consultancy, design services, partnership for fee, or any other paid\narrangement. No funds have been raised, applied for, awarded, committed, or accepted.\nFor corrections, native-speaker review, community review, or removal requests, open a\npublic contact thread on GitHub Issues or use the email in [`DISCLAIMER.md`](DISCLAIMER.md).\n\n## Contributing\n\nContributions are welcome from anyone who reads the work and feels the pulse of it.\nA few light norms:\n\n- Open an issue first for anything bigger than a typo, so we can talk through it.\n- Match the warm, conversational voice of the existing prose. No corporate\n  language. No buzzwords. No em-dashes (a small house style).\n- Keep the no-build-step contract. Anything that introduces Webpack, npm, or\n  similar tooling is out of scope.\n- Honour the **Cor Visual Identity** invariants in `_shared/cor-visual-identity.md`:\n  the heart silhouette is one shared SVG path, every site has nine sections in\n  the fixed order, the heartbeat ticks at 60 BPM in sync across all cities, and\n  the rose-family accent palette is never broken.\n\n## Credits\n\n*Cor del Món* is a design proposal by **sara-star-quant**.\n\nThe Andorra page draws on the rhythms of Catalan poetry, the architecture of the\nPyrenees, and the everyday warmth of Andorran communes. The other five cities\nare designed in respectful dialogue with their local materials, motifs, and\ncontemporary architectural practices, named in each city's `vocab.js`.\n\nIf you build on this work, an attribution to *Cor del Món / sara-star-quant /\ncor-del-mon* with a link back to this repository is gratefully received.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fsara-star-quant%2Fcor-del-mon","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fsara-star-quant%2Fcor-del-mon","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fsara-star-quant%2Fcor-del-mon/lists"}
