pyTALISES\n\n**pyTALISES** (This Ain't a LInear Schrödinger Equation Solver) is an easy-to-use Python implementation of the Split-Step Fourier Method, for numeric calculation of a wave function's pytalises\n====================\n**We recommend installing pytalises via conda**\n\n_Note from 2020/11/27_: the new Python 3.9 release is currently not supported by the numba libary. [They plan to implement a working version early 2021](https://github.com/numba/numba/issues/6345#issuecomment-738696458). So long just use Python 3.6-3.8 with pytalises.\n\n#### Using conda\n\nInstalling `pytalises` from the `conda-forge` channel can be achieved by adding `conda-forge` to your channels with:\n\n```\nconda config --add channels conda-forge\n```\n\nOnce the `conda-forge` channel has been enabled, `pytalises` can be installed with:\n\n```\nconda install pytalises=0.2.7\n```\n\n\n#### Using pip\n\npytalises is available on the Python Package Index and can be installed via\n\n```\npip install pytalises==0.2.7\n```\n\nit has dependencies via `scipy` and `numba` on BLAS and LAPACK libraries that are not always found on windows systems.
