The layout is basically featuring the following:\n\n- Use `fn+hjkl` for navigation\n- Use `l_ctrl` as `function`\n- Map `caps lock` to `l_ctrl`\n- Swap the `l_win` and `l_alt` keys\n- Swap the `r_alt` and `fn`, and map `fn` to `super`.\n\nI'm using this layout actively when developing with the Pok3er on Arch Linux\nwith NeoVim as my weapon of choice.\n\nThe great thing is that you can pick and choose from the settings below. Treat\nthis guide as an example, not the Truth of a great set up.\n\nThe layout I have looks like this (the red keys are the modified ones):\n\n\u003cimg src=\"https://github.com/sebdah/pok3r-layout/blob/master/keyboard-layout.png\" /\u003e\n\n[Keyboard Layout Editor](http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/#/gists/d419920d1bf4d9b77aa91a868eb52652)\n\n## Basics\n\nOnly layers 2-4 are programmable, the default layer is not. So when following\nthis guide, make sure you are on any of layers 2-4 (`fn + ,`, `.` or `/`).\n\n### Entering programming mode\n\nTo enter the programming mode on the keyboard, press `fn + r_ctrl`. The right LED\nunder the space bar will now light up.\n\nNote again that this is not possible in the default layer.\n\n### Exiting programming mode\n\nTo exit the programming mode on the keyboard, press `fn + r_ctrl` or wait for\n15 seconds.\n\n## Configuration\n\n### Use `fn+hjlk` for navigation\n\n1. Start by entering programming mode, `fn + r_ctrl`\n2. Map `fn + h` to left:\n 1. `fn + h` (set target)\n 2. `fn + j` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n3. Map `fn + j` to down:\n 1. `fn + j` (set target)\n 2. `fn + k` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n4. Map `fn + k` to up:\n 1. `fn + k` (set target)\n 2. `fn + i` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n5. Exit programming mode: `fn + r_ctrl`\n\n### Map `caps lock` to `l_ctrl`\n\n1. Start by entering programming mode, `fn + r_ctrl`\n2. Map `caps lock` to `l_ctrl`:\n 1. `caps lock` (set target)\n 2. `l_ctrl` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n3. Exit programming mode: `fn + r_ctrl`\n\n### Swap left `alt` and `super` (`win`)\n\n R_CMD: R_Alt then: R_FN (Win) then: PN\n R_Option: R_FN (Win) then: R_Alt then: PN\n\n1. Start by entering programming mode, `fn + r_ctrl`\n2. Map `l_alt` to `l_win`:\n 1. `l_alt` (set target)\n 2. `l_win` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n3. Map `l_win` to `l_alt`:\n 1. `l_win` (set target)\n 2. `l_alt` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n4. Exit programming mode: `fn + r_ctrl`\n\n### Swap right `alt` and `fn`\n\n1. Start by entering programming mode, `fn + r_ctrl`\n2. Map `r_alt` to `r_fn`:\n 1. `r_alt` (set target)\n 2. `r_fn` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n3. Map `r_fn` to `r_alt`:\n 1. `r_fn` (set target)\n 2. `r_alt` (set source)\n 3. `pn`/`menu` (save)\n4. Exit programming mode: `fn + r_ctrl`\n\n### Map `l_ctrl` to `fn`\n\n1. Unplug the keyboard\n2. Switch DIP switch 4 (the hardware switches on the back of the keyboard to ON)\n3. Plug the keyboard back in again\n4. Press `fn` then `l_ctrl`, then `pn` and then `pn`\n5. Switch DIP switch 4 back to OFF\n\n## Special thanks\n\nSpecial thanks to [David Jenni](https://github.com/davidjenni) for his great\nguide to configuring the Pok3r on macOS and Windows.
