grunt-ms-translate\n\n\u003e A build task to translate JSON files to other languages using Microsoft's Translation API. Pairs very well with angular-translate.\n\n\nIt was created to automatically translate JSON translation files by leveraging\n[Microsoft's Translator API](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/getstarted.aspx)\nwhich has the benefit of having a free tier.\n\n## Getting Started\nThis plugin requires Grunt `~0.4.5`\n\nIf you haven't used [Grunt](http://gruntjs.com/) before, be sure to check out the [Getting Started](http://gruntjs.com/getting-started) guide, as it explains how to create a [Gruntfile](http://gruntjs.com/sample-gruntfile) as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:\n\n```shell\nnpm install grunt-ms-translate --save-dev\n```\n\nOnce the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:\n\n```js\ngrunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-ms-translate');\n```\n\n## The \"ms_translate\" task\n\n### Overview of Options\n\n#### options.msApiKey\nType: `String`\nDefault value: `',  '`\n\nThe API key used to access [Microsoft's Translation API](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/translator/getstarted.aspx).\n\n#### options.serializeRequests\nType: `Boolean`\nDefault value: `false`\n\nWill translate each chunk of the file only after the previous chunk has\nfinished. Slows the task down but can mitigate API errors relating to rate\nlimit, especially on the free tier.\n\n### Usage Examples\n\n#### Simple Example\nIn this example, I passed in a JSON file with english text. It will then create two files in the ```i18n/``` folder called ru.json and zh-CN.json for Russian and Chinese respectively.\n\nNote: This plugin will try and deduce the suffix (file type), so you don't need to explicity specify it. If you need it to have a different suffix, then specify the ```suffix``` as shown in the next example.\n\n```js\ngrunt.initConfig({\n    ms_translate: {\n        default_options: {\n            options: {\n                msApiKey: YOUR_API_KEY_HERE\n            },\n            files: [{\n                src: '\u003c%= yeoman.client %\u003e/i18n/en.json',\n                sourceLanguage: 'en',\n                targetLanguages: ['ru', 'zh-CN'],\n                dest: '\u003c%= yeoman.client %\u003e/i18n/'\n            }]\n        }\n    }\n});\n```\n\n#### Full Example\nIn this example, two files are being translated, one called\n```locale-en.json``` and another called ```locale-fr.json``` and the\n`serializeRequests` flag is enabled.
