Go to Control Panel\u003ePrograms\u003ePrograms and Features\u003eTurn Windows Features on or off\u003eLegacy Components\u003eEnable Direct Play .NET 3.5 Framework support and just in case install DirectX 9.0c:\n\nhttps://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109\n\n1. Install Bioshock\n\n2. Go to Steam\u003eProperties\u003eGeneral\u003eLaunch Options \n\n3. Enter: -dx9 -windowed \n\n4. Go to C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\common\\Bioshock\\Builds\\Release\n\n5. Find Bioshock.exe\n\n6. Select Properties \u003e Compatibility\n\n7. Select Compatibility Mode Windows XP3\n\n8. Select Run This program as an Administrator \n\n9. Click Apply\u003eOk\n\n10. Laucnh Bioshock.\n\n11. Go into Settings set Resolution to your monitor resolution 1080p is supported\n\n12. Set Fullscreen\n\n13. Exit \n\n14. Again go to Steam\u003eProperties\u003eLaunch Options \n\n15. Remove: -windowed \n\n16. Play the game.\n\n17. For Audio Fix drop the openal32.dll file from this repo into your C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\common\\Bioshock\\Builds\\Release folder\n\n18. Disable reverb in Audio Settings. \n\n# NB!
