/\u003e\n\n## ✨ Why?\n`brrr` installs webhook notifications for supported AI agent CLIs on macOS.\n\nThe goal is simple: when Claude or Codex finishes, needs approval, or needs your input, send a push through your \u003ca href=\"https://brrr.now\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ebrrr\u003c/a\u003e webhook.\n\nIt uses \u003ca href=\"https://code.claude.com/docs/en/hooks\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eClaude's hooks\u003c/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https://developers.openai.com/codex/config-reference/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eCodex' notify\u003c/a\u003e to detect the agent is done. Resolved values must also match `https://api.brrr.now/v1/br_*`.\n\nUse single quotes when installing with an environment variable so your shell does not expand it too early:\n\n```sh\nbrrr agent install all --webhook '$BRRR_WEBHOOK_URL' --idle-seconds 300\n```\n\nIf you want the variable available in future shell sessions, add it to your shell config, for example:\n\n```sh\nexport BRRR_WEBHOOK_URL='https://api.brrr.now/v1/br_your_webhook_id'\n```\n\n#### Only Notify When Idle\n\n`--idle-seconds` is required.\n\nWe recommend starting with `300`, which is a good default if you mainly want pushes when you step away from the machine.\n\nUse `0` to send the notification immediately with no idle wait. Any value above `0` means `brrr` only sends the notification when the machine has been idle for at least that many seconds.
