Like a shared filesystem.\n- Establish a record.  For traceable, reproducible results.\n- Release pressure on the more \"traditional\" repositories.  Because\n  ad-hoc work is stored here, the main codebases can be kept clean of\n  such things.\n\n\n## How to use this repository\n\nThis is a shared workspace, so things will get really ugly unless we\nfollow some rules:\n\n- Respect the organizational structure described below.\n- Do not commit large (\u003e 1MB) data files.  Everyone will like it\n  better if you include a link or download instructions in a local\n  script or README.\n- Do not commit the plots or other output from your scripts.
