You'll need to download the 2 requirements listed\nbelow, as well as download the Vagrantfile from this project.\n\n\n## Pre-Requisites\n\nYou will need to install the following 2 programs:\n\n- [vagrant](http://www.vagrantup.com/downloads.html)\n- [virtualbox](https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads)\n\n\n## Installation\n\nInstall this project by downloading the .zip file:\n\n- [vagrant-open-electribe-editor.zip](https://github.com/skratchdot/vagrant-open-electribe-editor/archive/master.zip)\n\nOr if you have git installed, by running this:\n\n```bash\ngit clone git://github.com/skratchdot/vagrant-open-electribe-editor\n```\n\nOnce you've obtained the project, use your command line to start the VM:\n\n```bash\ncd vagrant-open-electribe-editor\nvagrant up\n```\n\n**NOTE:**  \nThis will a long time (the first time you run it), because it will need to download\na few big files when setting up the VM.  Once the VM is finished being created, you\nwill have a Linux VM with Open Electribe Editor installed.  The VM will have access\nto the same folder that the Vagrant file is in, so you will need to put your .esx files\nthere (when opening/saving).\n\n**NOTE 2:**  \nAs of 04/25/2020: the [bootstrap](bootstrap.sh) script doesn't 100% work anymore, but I was able to get\nthings working after restarting the VM and performing some manual tasks by ssh'ing into the box.\n\nAfter the initial `vagrant up` command, I ran:\n\n```sh\nvagrant reload\nvagrant ssh\n```\n\nThen I ran a few of the [bootstrap](bootstrap.sh) commands manually inside the VM.  For some reason,\nit looks like a restart is needed before the `~/Desktop` folder exists.\n\nI don't have time to debug this now, so if anyone needs help running this, just email me or log a github issue. Ubuntu 12.04 is downloaded (if it doesn't already exist)\n2. Ubuntu is updated.\n3. The Ubuntu GUI is installed\n4. Java is installed\n5. Open Electribe Editor is installed\n6.
