lume-genesis\n\nGenesis tools for use in [LUME](http://lume.science/).\n\n## Installing lume-genesis from conda-forge\n\n### OpenMPI (recommended for parallel calculations)\n\n```\nconda install -c conda-forge lume-genesis genesis2=*=mpi_openmpi* genesis4=*=mpi_openmpi*\n```\n\n### MPICH (alternative for parallel calculations)\n\n```\nconda install -c conda-forge lume-genesis genesis2=*=mpi_mpich* genesis4=*=mpi_mpich*\n```\n\n### Non-MPI (non-parallel, single core calculations only)\n\n```\nconda install -c conda-forge lume-genesis\n```\n\n## List all `lume-genesis` versions available\n\n```\nconda search lume-genesis --channel conda-forge\n```\n\n## Development environment\n\nA conda environment file is provided in this repository and may be used for a\ndevelopment environment.\n\nTo create a new conda environment using this file, do the following:\n\n```bash\ngit clone https://github.com/slaclab/lume-genesis\ncd lume-genesis\nconda env create -n lume-genesis-dev -f environment.yml\nconda activate lume-genesis-dev\npython -m pip install --no-deps -e .\n```\n\nAlternatively, with a virtualenv and pip:\n\n```bash\ngit clone
