This tool is **explicitly** only for books you have purchased **to own**.\n\nCheggRipper is a tool to download textbooks from Chegg.\n\nTo download a textbook, you must extract your authentication token via cookies. Make sure you are on the `ereader.chegg.com` when you use the extension. Save the JSON into the config directory of this repo as `chegg.cookies.json`\n\n\u003e [!WARNING]  \n\u003e You should treat cookies exported as you would a plaintext list of passwords. Cookies may (*will* in this case) contain plaintext authentication tokens.\n\nYou also need the book ID.
