The microprocessor will store one of several\n“tunes”. On demand the embedded system will play a selected tune through a\ndigital to analogue converter (DAC), pre-amplifier, amplifier and speaker. Each\n“tune” will be kept in a table in memory and a selection made from the keypad. A\nhuman-interface using a 7-Segment LED display will be required to prompt the\nuser for a song. Waveform data can be generated using a spreadsheet program such\nas Excel, or a mathematical tool such as MATLAB. These data will be stored in\nmemory and output to a digital-to-analogue converter for amplification, and\nultimately heard by users as musical sequences. Monotone sequences are sufficient\nfor this project, however polymorphic tones (use of harmonics) are encouraged.\n\nBill of Materials\nComponent Quantity\nAT91SAM7s256 MCU x1\nMAX550 DAC x1\nTL071 OP-AMP x1\nLM386 Audio Amplifier x1\n.2W loud Speaker x1\n4-Digit 7-Segment Display x1\nLED, Green x1\nLED, Red x1\nBC557 Transistor x6\n4x4 Keypad x1\nVarious Resistors ∼ x20\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fsteakunderscore%2Favrjukebox","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fsteakunderscore%2Favrjukebox","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fsteakunderscore%2Favrjukebox/lists"}
