Open source, zero maintenance, \ngluten free, and ambient friendly!\n\n![Final product](img/main.jpg)\n\n\n## Demo\n\nCheck out the demo video on [youtube](https://youtu.be/fu0kCOw-K4I)!\n\n\n## Shopping list \n*Not sponsored or anything, I just use AliExpress since it's cheap af*\n\nA paperclip or a similar mounting solution for the badge\\\n[Arduino Uno](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32831857729.html) (or similar/knockoff, I don't judge)\\\n[Servo](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32864196324.html)\\\n[Button](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001496993423.html)\\\n[Dupont wires](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000203371860.html)\\\n(Optional) [relay](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000956019162.html) and \n[strobe light](https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33026259989.html)\n\n\n## Code\n\nJust open the `AutoBadger.ino` file with the Arduino IDE,\nadjust ports or timeouts if needed and upload it to the board!\n\nNote: depending on your strobe model you might have to enable `MANUAL_BLINK`\nto manually make the light flash. It's a bit more noisy (relay clicking) so I would\nsuggest to get a strobe that flashes by itself.\n\n\n## Schematic and assembly\n\nThe schematic for the whole setup is attached at the bottom of this section\n(the Fritzing file is also available).\n\nAssembly instructions:\n\n1. Get a box to put all the electronics inside\n2. Cut a hole in the side of the box to accomodate the servo, manually checking \nwhich height is enough to trigger the sensor (usually a couple cm)\n3. Install servo in said hole\n4. (Optional) drill holes on top of the box to install the strobe and pull the cable inside\n5. Wire up everything as the schematic indicates and power up the board\n6. Fix badge on the servo which will now be in the upwards (resting) position\n7.
