A Rust interface to the Mosquitto MQTT broker client\n\nMosquitto is a popular MQTT broker implemented in C. Although there are pure\nRust MQTT clients, it is still useful to have a binding to the Mosquitto client.\n\nThe basic story is that you connect to a broker, _subscribing_ to topics that\ninterest you and _publishing_ messages on a particular topic. The messages\nmay be any arbitrary bytes, but this implementation does require that the topics\nthemselves be UTF-8.  The C API is based on callbacks, which are mapped onto\nRust closures.\n\nThe Mosquitto client is thread-safe, so you can publish from one thread and listen\nfor the messages on another. This example demonstrates **mosquitto-client** usage:\n\n```rust\nextern crate mosquitto_client as mosq;\nuse mosq::Mosquitto;\nuse std::{thread, time};\n\nfn main() {\n    let m = Mosquitto::new(\"test\");\n\n    m.connect(\"localhost\",1883).expect(\"can't connect\");\n    m.subscribe(\"bilbo/#\",1).expect(\"can't subscribe to bonzo\");\n\n    let mt = m.clone();\n    thread::spawn(move || {\n        let timeout = time::Duration::from_millis(500);\n        for _ in 0..5 {\n            mt.publish(\"bilbo/baggins\",\"hello dolly\".as_bytes(), 1, false).unwrap();\n            thread::sleep(timeout);\n        }\n        mt.disconnect().unwrap();\n    });\n\n    let mut mc = m.callbacks(0);\n    mc.on_message(|data,msg| {\n        println!(\"bilbo {:?}\",msg);\n        *data += 1;\n    });\n\n    m.loop_until_disconnect(200).expect(\"broken loop\");\n    println!(\"received {} messages\",mc.data);\n}\n```\nThe `Mosquitto` struct is a thin wrapper around the C pointer we get from the client.\nIt is `Clone + Send + Sync`, so we can pass it to a thread which simply publishes some\nbytes and waits; at the end of the thread we _explicitly_ disconnect.\n\nThe ``Callbacks`` handler struct is separate, to avoid antagonizing the borrow checker.\nIt is created by the `callbacks` method and is generic over some data (accessed as the `data` field)\nWhenever an event occurs, the callback will be passed a mutable reference to that data, and\nevent-specific data - in this case a message struct.\n\n`loop_until_disconnect` is a relative of `loop_forever` which ends without error if we\nexplicitly disconnect from the broker.\n\n## Prerequisites\n\nOn Debian/Ubuntu systems, will require the client `libmosquitto1` to be installed (the dev package is\nnot needed).
