It includes a highly\nefficient mixer, MOD playing routines and support for up to 16 channels. It is\ndesigned for developers using a GCC-based development environment. AAS uses RAW,\nWAV or *tracker 1-16 channel MOD files as input.\n\n\n## Documentation\n\nAAS is fairly well documented. From building the library to a starter guide to\nan extensive description of the api. See the [online\ndocumentation](https://stuij.github.io/apex-audio-system) or the pages in the\nrepo at `\u003croot\u003e/docs/index.html`.\n\n\n## History\n\nApex Audio System was made by James Daniels of Apex Systems back in 2003 for the\nGBA version of Payback. The library underwent several revisions, the latest of\nwhich was v1.11. At the beginning of 2021, James was so kind to donate the\nsources to the community, hence this Git repo.\n\n\n## Latest release\n\nThe current release is v1.13. See the documentation for a list of changes.\n\n\n## Contact\n\nGithub project page: https://github.com/stuij/apex-audio-system\n\nPull requests are welcome, as are forks of course. If you want to report issues,\nopen an issue on the Github project issue tracker.\n\nFor a more realtime interactive experience, join gbadev on Discord. There's a\ngood chance there's one or two people there that have used AAS before.\n\n\n## License\n\nAAS is now distributed under the MIT license. For licensing terms, see the\nLICENSE file in the root of this repo or go to\nhttp://opensource.org/licenses/MIT\n\nJames only had one request when handing over the sources: that users of the\nlibrary include a credit to Apex Designs. In essence this is now covered by the\nMIT license. It's up to you how you want to fill this in, but please be\nrespectful of this requirement.\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fstuij%2Fapex-audio-system","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fstuij%2Fapex-audio-system","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fstuij%2Fapex-audio-system/lists"}
