Written in PHP, it's a network of sites like Google (and heavily inspired).\n\nAt the time I didn't know `git`, so source code was backed up into different folders. It was during my pre-teen age of 11 \u0026 12 when I started writing all these code. So it's pretty bad. It worked but is vulnerable to **SQL Injection** and many other stuff.\n\n[Screenshots \u0026 more info at my blog](https://subinsb.com/the-subins-project/#update-2019)\n\nAfter building Subins, I learnt some of my mistakes and built a better network of sites called [Nokedo in 2013](https://github.com/subins2000/nokedo).\n\n## Tech\n\n* `geany` as editor (used `gedit` too IIRC)\n* Ubuntu 10.04\n* Apache server\n* PHP 5\n* MySQL\n\n## Components\n\nSubins composed of different sites. Each of them are stored in separate folders. Since they're in PHP5, it's hard to set them up now and make it work. But from looking at the source code, here's what I think the folders are :\n\n* `accounts` - Accounts site like accounts.google.com\n* `analytics` - Like Google Analytics\n* `apps` - Like Chrome Web Store\n* `chat` - Chat site\n* `fd` - FriendsHood, a social network like Facebook\n* `games` - Similar to Chrome Web Store I guess\n* `get` - File download site like SourceForge\n* `music` - Music streaming site\n* `shortener` - A URL shortener like goo.gl\n* `static` - CDN site\n* `subins` - Search engine\n* `quiz` - A quiz app like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire\n* `videos` - Like YouTube\n\n## LICENSE\n\nAll the source code is licensed under `GNU GPL 3.0`.\n\nIt's likely that there is copyrighted material like pictures, videos or other files in the folders.
