It is designed to support empirically grounded\nagent-based models on food systems and to improve the reproducibility of\nsimulations by enabling [parallel\nexecution](#integrating-with-other-models) alongside other models.\n\nThe model runs in parallel with the\n[`LogoClim`](https://github.com/sustentarea/logoclim) model, which\nprovides climate data from [WorldClim 2.1](https://worldclim.org/).\n\n\u003e If you find this project useful, please consider giving it a star!  \n\u003e [![GitHub repo\n\u003e stars](https://img.shields.io/github/stars/sustentarea/foodclim)](https://github.com/sustentarea/foodclim/)\n\n![FoodClim Interface](images/foodclim-interface-bra-10m.png)\n\n## How to Use It\n\nRefer to the [`LogoClim`](https://github.com/sustentarea/logoclim)\ninstallation guide for detailed steps on installing the required\ndependencies.\n\nOnce `LogoClim` is installed, you can run the `FoodClim` model by\nspecifying the path to your `LogoClim` installation in the `FoodClim`\ninterface. This allows `FoodClim` to access climate data provided by\n`LogoClim` during simulations.\n\nRefer to the `Info` tab in the model for additional details.\n\n### Integrating with Other Models\n\n`FoodClim` can be integrated with other models using the\n[LevelSpace](https://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/docs/ls.html) (`ls`)\nextension for NetLogo. LevelSpace enables parallel execution and\ncommunication between multiple models. This approach supports more\ncomprehensive simulations and facilitates the study of complex\ninteractions between food systems and environmental processes.\n\n## How to Cite\n\nIf you use this model in your research, please cite it to acknowledge\nthe effort invested in its development and maintenance.
