Use it to test the performance of your mouse sensor or buttons and the speed of your movements.\n\nI created HamsterWheel just for fun so I can benchmark my own mice but feel free to use it for anything and fork it if you would like.\n\n![alt text](https://github.com/szabodanika/HamsterWheel/blob/master/screenshot1.jpg?raw=true[/img])\n\n## Features\n\n- Polling rate testing\n- DPI accuracy testing\n- Speed and acceleration testing\n- Skipping, jumping testing\n- Cursor tracking\n- Generating statistics in a log file\n- Relative click latency test\n- Click duration and interval test\n- Full screen and windowed mode\n- Polling rate multiplier for testing different polling rates\n- Saving settings in local config file\n- Dark mode\n- RGB\n\n## How to download and run\n\n1. Find the newest release [here](https://github.com/szabodanika/HamsterWheel/releases)\n2. Open the **assets** dropdown\n3. Download **HamsterWheel.zip**\n4. Unzip folder\n5. Launch **HamsterWheel.exe**\n\n## How to use\n\n- Video and written tutorials coming soon\n\n## Building the executable for yourself\n\n### 1. Build executable jar with dependencies using Maven\n```\nmvn clean install\n```\n\n### 2. Generate custom JRE using jlink (optional, a full fat JDK can be used too)\n```\njlink --output hamsterwheel-jre-runtime --add-modules java.desktop\n```\n\n### 3. Create native windows executable\n1. On windows you can use launch4j for this, just load the execonfig.xml\n2. Generate executable\n3. Place executable in a new empty folder called \"HamsterWheel\"\n4. Place custom JRE from previous step next to the .exe file\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fszabodanika%2Fhamsterwheel","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fszabodanika%2Fhamsterwheel","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fszabodanika%2Fhamsterwheel/lists"}
