(dot) is the normal tag operator\n\nand also allows for tagging tags:\n\n    .. (dot dot) is the metatag operator\n\n(Only one tag can be tagged per dimension. Seems to work nicely in practice.)\n\n## example please\n\n\n### basic syntax\nA normal collection of tags looks like so\n\n**..food.podcast.spaghetti_related**\n\nto signify the hash tags\n\n    #food\n    #podcast\n    #spaghetti_related\n\n(Note the `..` signifying the start of a metatag)\n\n### full syntax\n\nA metatag utilizing the dimensional aspect (tags tagging tags) looks like so\n\n**..text..freewriting.danish.short_form.funny..not_haha.dark.british**\n\nwhich corresponds to these hash tags when expanded\n\n    #text\n    #text/freewriting\n    #text/dansk\n    #text/short_form\n    #text/funny/not_haha\n    #text/funny/dark\n    #text/funny/british\n\n(metatag version is 8 words, hash-tag version is  16 words)\n\n### another example\n\n**..mp3..metal.90s.mood..fist_date.last_date**\n\ncorresponds with these hash tags\n\n    #mp3\n    #mp3/metal\n    #mp3/90s\n    #mp3/mood/fist_date\n    #mp3/mood/last_date\n\n## complex tags using `[]`\n\nTo describe a complex self-contained string and/or escape `.` (dot) interpretation, use angle brackets. Examples include `[url.com]`,`[v0.1.2]`,`[hmm...]`. Used below to include a full URL:\n\n**..youtube_video..math.calculus_1.lecture_series.url..[https://youtu.be/rR8imSHCuFk]**\n\nsignifying in hash-tag notation\n\n    #youtube_video\n    #youtube_video/math\n    #youtube_video/calculus_1\n    #youtube_video/lecture_series/url https://youtu.be/rR8imSHCuFk\n\n\n\n\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ftaext%2Fmt","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Ftaext%2Fmt","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Ftaext%2Fmt/lists"}
