regions and accounts.\n\n# Quick Start\n\nLet's see how to create a simple CloudFormation stack using Takomo.\n\n## Installation\n\nInstall Takomo globally:\n\n    npm i -g takomo\n\nVerify installation:\n\n    tkm --version\n\n## AWS Credentials\n\nYou need to have valid AWS credentials configured. Create a profile named `takomo-example` in your `~/.aws/credentials` file:\n\n    [takomo-example]\n    aws_access_key_id=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\n    aws_secret_access_key=YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY\n\n## Stack Configuration\n\nOur stack contains a VPC whose CIDR range can be parameterized. First, we need to create a `stacks` directory that will host all stack configurations. Create the directory and add there a file named `vpc.yml` with the following contents:\n\n    regions: eu-west-1\n    parameters:\n      CidrBlock: 10.0.0.0/24\n\n## Stack Template\n\nNext, we need to provide a CloudFormation template for our stack. Create `templates` directory next to the `stacks` directory, and add there a file named `vpc.yml` with the following contents:\n\n    Description: My VPC\n    Parameters:\n      CidrBlock:\n        Type: String\n        Description: VPC CIDR block\n    Resources:\n      VPC:\n        Type: AWS::EC2::VPC\n        Properties:\n          CidrBlock: !Ref CidrBlock\n\n## Stack Deployment\n\nAlright, we are ready to deploy our stack. Change to the project root directory and run:\n\n    tkm stacks deploy --profile takomo-example\n\nYou will be prompted if you want to continue the deployment. You also need to review and approve the changes.
