It gives you full access to API in your Java code.\n\nLibrary has been built based on [TamTam Bot API Schema](https://github.com/tamtam-chat/tamtam-bot-api-schema) that is OpenAPI-compliant.\n\nFull documentation of API can be found [here](https://dev.tamtam.chat).\n\n⚠️ This library provides just a thin client to invoke API methods. Take a look at [tamtam-bot-sdk](https://github.com/tamtam-chat/tamtam-bot-sdk) framework to build bots.\n\n## Requirements\nMinimum required version of Java is 8.\n\nTo use TamTam Bot API you should obtain `ACCESS_TOKEN` for each bot you create.\n\nTalk to [@PrimeBot](http://tt.me/primebot). It will helps you to create your first bot.\n\n## Dependencies\n- [Jackson 2.9.8](https://github.com/FasterXML/jackson)\n- [OkHttp 3.12.0](https://github.com/square/okhttp)\n- [SLF4J](https://github.com/qos-ch/slf4j)\n\n## Usage\nTo start using this client add it as Maven dependency:\n```xml\n\u003cdependency\u003e\n    \u003cgroupId\u003echat.tamtam\u003c/groupId\u003e\n    \u003cartifactId\u003etamtam-bot-api\u003c/artifactId\u003e\n    \u003cversion\u003e0.5.0\u003c/version\u003e\n\u003c/dependency\u003e\n```\n\n### Initialization\nThe easiest way to create it is to call:\n```java\nTamTamBotAPI api = TamTamBotAPI.create(\"%ACCESS_TOKEN%);\n```\n\nIt will create client with default Jackson-based serializer and OkHttp-based HTTP client.\nIf you want to use your own implementation you can implement `TamTamTransportClient` and `TamTamSerializer` and initialize `TamTamClient` with it:\n\n```java\nTamTamTransportClient transportClient = …;\nTamTamSerializer serializer = …;\nTamTamClient client = new TamTamClient(\"%ACCESS_TOKEN%\", transportClient, serializer);\nTamTamBotAPI botAPI = new TamTamBotAPI(client);\n```\n\n### Making requests\n`TamTamBotAPI` provides access to all methods supported by the API. All methods return `TamTamQuery` object that can be executed **synchronous** or **asynchronous**.\n\nFor example:\n\n```java\nString fileToken = …;\nLong userId = …;\n\nAttachmentRequest fileAttachment = new FileAttachmentRequest(new UploadedInfo(fileToken));\nList\u003cAttachmentRequest\u003e attachments = Collections.singletonList(fileAttachment);\nNewMessageBody body = new NewMessageBody(\"hello world!\", attachments, null);\nSendMessageQuery sendMessageQuery = botAPI.sendMessage(body).userId(userId);\n\n// Sync\nSendMessageResult result = sendMessageQuery.execute();\n\n// Async\nFuture\u003cSendMessageResult\u003e futureResult = sendMessageQuery.enqueue();\n```\n\n### Uploading media\nYour bot is able to attach some media content to messages. It could be image, video, audio or file.\n\nTo attach media to message you should follow two steps:\n\n1. Obtain URL to upload:\n```java\nUploadEndpoint endpoint = botAPI.getUploadUrl(UploadType.VIDEO).execute();\nString uploadUrl = endpoint.getUrl();\n```\n2. Upload binary data to this url. You can manually execute HTTP-request to send binary data to this url, or use built-in `TamTamUploadAPI`:\n\n```java\nTamTamUploadAPI uploadAPI = new TamTamUploadAPI(client);\nUploadedInfo uploadedInfo = uploadAPI.uploadFile(uploadUrl, new File(\"%FILE_PATH%\")).execute();\n```\n\n#### Important notice\nIt may take a time for server to process you file (audio/video or binary file). While file is not processed you can't attach it and will get `AttachmentNotReadyException` when calling `sendMessage` method. Try again until you'll get successful result.\n\n### Handling exceptions\nAll methods can throw two type of exceptions:\n\n1. ClientException: general exception type wrapping all kinds of IO/serialization exceptions.\n\n2. APIException: exception you will get if API was used incorrectly. For example, some arguments are missing or access to requested resource is denied.\n\n### Logging\nNo logging is performed by default. This project uses SLF4J, so you should bring adapter for logging framework you prefer.
