I haven't had the time or need to keep this project up to date, but it looks like [jplaut/vim-arduino-ino](https://github.com/jplaut/vim-arduino-ino/) is another good option for similar functionality.\n\n## Install\n\nThe plugin should be organized in a manner that works well with\npathogen. I personally use [janus][janus] to manage my MacVim setup so\nadding this line to my `~/.janus.rake` file does the trick:\n\n```\nvim_plugin_task \"vim-arduino\", \"https://github.com/tclem/vim-arduino.git\"\n```\n\n## Usage\n\nYou must have a pde (Arduino sketch) open in the current buffer.\n\n`\u003cLeader\u003eac` - Compile the current sketch.\n\n`\u003cLeader\u003ead` - Compile and deploy the current sketch.\n\n`\u003cLeader\u003eas` - Open a serial port in `screen`.\n\n\nThe default key mapping can be turned off by doing this in your `.vimrc`:\n\n```\nlet g:vim_arduino_map_keys = 0\n```\n\n## Configuration\n\nThere are a few settings you might need to set:\n\n```\n\"Default: /Applications/Arduino.app/Contents/Resources/Java\nlet g:vim_arduino_library_path = /path/to/arduino/installation\n\"Default: result of `$(ls /dev/tty.* | grep usb)`\nlet g:vim_arduino_serial_port = /my/serial/port\n```\n\n## Requirements\n\nYou must have the [Arduino][arduino] IDE installed.
