e.g.\n      - Romulans starting with D'deridex warbirds\n      - Cardassians with Galors\n      - Federation with Miranda + Excelsior\n      - Klingons with K'tinga\n- [x] Replace the D7-like warbird with the cruiser Bird of Prey-variant, K'Vort class (primarily from *Yesterday's Enterprise*).\n  - K'tinga becomes smaller and the starting ship.\n- [ ] Fix the timeline progression\n  - Problems\n    - Federation is missing lots of member worlds present during TNG/DS9\n    - Ships become available far too late, e.g. Sovereign is unresearchable until 2456 when it appears in cannon by 2372.\n  - TNG start in 2346?\n    - Game needs to progress in years much more slowly so that the 2380s become \"late game\"\n  - Late TOS start?\n    - Fits better with the state of the empires as presented in the game\n    - Need to avoid e.g. Khitomer event happening at the start and rework event timeline\n\nMore speculative ideas:\n\n- Antimatter resource for Federation/Klingon/Cardassian\n  - Antimatter factories to make it\n  - Replace Deuterium?\n- Transwarp\n  - Techs to pass through transwarp conduits increasingly safely?\n  - Quantum Slipstream drives?\n \n## Implementation\n\nYou can find the current state of the implementation in the [Renaissance](renaissance) folder.\n\n## Attribution\n\nSome of the content here (notably 3d) models were not produced by me but other excellent creators.
