This system captures the instant\nof occurrence of spikes and sends them to a computer through a USB JTAG-UART\ninterface. The computer also enqueues stimuli samples to be converted\nby an DAC synchronously to the first acquisition channel.\n\nThe system is physically composed by the following components:\n\n * Altera MAX II CPLD (e.g. EPM2210)\n * Digital buffer for input protection (e.g. 74HC4050)\n * MAX5134 DAC\n * 32K x 8-bit SRAM (e.g. IDT71256)\n\nMore information is available in our [paper](http://arxiv.org/abs/1504.01718).\n\n\n## Compiling and synthesizing\n\n### Preparing\n\nEdit `config.mk` and check if the Quartus II and Bluespec compiler paths\nare correct.
